I have found some threads on whether or not to include these from high school (consensus seems to be "no").

What if you are a non-traditional student? Most of my college activities/honors were from my first college experience ~10 years ago. I have some current volunteer experience (Girl Scout leader) and am the vice president of an on-campus club. Is that enough?

It seems desperate for me to include things from so long ago, but I don't want to leave them out if they really should be on the application. But people I know in real life are heavily encouraging me to include them. Would it hurt to have them in the app?

Include everything from college.

If I were you I'd include the ones that are most recent first. Having an officer position looks very good. It sets you apart from people who are involved in a lot of clubs to boost your resume. If you're continually involved with Girl Scouts and the on-campus club I'd say you're good.

I personally don't think that it'll hurt to put some things from your college experience 10 years ago. However, I'd make sure to emphasize the current activities you're in.

When I saw the title, I was like 🙄. Good job on doing your part though. 👍

So here's the general strategy I would use:

- Highlight the best of your college experience
- Include all significant recent stuff (it would be ideal if they relate to those college experiences)
- Balance it so that it shows a continuous history of achievement/participation (assuming that it's true) and substantiates the relevance of those items from a decade ago (thus the ideal relation)
