How fast does it go?

I don't doubt any of you when you say dental school is like two full time jobs. But I was wondering, the first two years of dental school basically consists of you sticking your nose in a book and writing infinite amounts of notes day in and day out. Do the first two year go by pretty quickly?

Also, another random question. Do first, second, third, and fourth years all wear different colored scrubs? I figured the first years would get baby blue or something so everyone would be able to make fun

Okay...I'll give you an idea. I looked at the syllabus the first day of school and saw that we had a terrible midterm week. Next week is midterm week.

I've been looking forward to seeing my long distance boyfriend (who I haven't seen in about a month) and that month feels like literally yesterday.

I don't even know where October came from...

Not nearly quickly enough. 🙂

But yes, they pass quickly. Heck, for that matter the whole four years goes pretty fast. I can't believe I'm looking at graduation in just a few months. 😱

actually I take no notes. my day is full of sitting in lectures and looking at preprinted powerpoint slides

I average 300 powerpoint slides a day.

my evening is full of reading and reading and reading.

much like 4 fulltime jobs imo.

ill second that...i cant believe how much i have learned in just (almost) 4 short years. especially since this semester has basically been a whilwind review of everything from previous years. then i realize how much more i have to learn to get up to everyday practice speed...ah geez....
