This won't lead to anything good so I'm locking the thread.
This is a forum for residents/physicians but we also welcome medical students interested in dermatology.
It appears you are pre-med so you've got a while to go before hitting your clinical rotations. Once you get to that stage, I highly encourage (as I would for all med students) a Derm rotation or at least shadowing a dermatologist for a day to get an idea of what life is like as a dermatologist.
Like everything else in medicine, there are some things people consider "icky" and some things people consider "tame".
Dr Lee's videos/TV show are demonstrating the more extreme cases we encounter.
