of course it depends on person, but generally speaking how actually hard is it to knock out pre-med/dental prereqs in two years back to back. specifically 2 core sciences w/ lab each quarter for 2 years straight. if one just finished 4 years undergrad, and plan to do this 2 year route, would they be considered crazy?

this is more of an opinion poll

4 courses/quarter? 2 science courses + lab is no biggie (and normal at quarter schools)- especially if you aren't working. Now I did 2 sciences + labs (orgo + physics) + 2 science electives while working part-time and that was a mistake. Don't do that.

Very common to do this. If you've gotten into a good studying routine by now and have adjusted to college it's very doable to do 2 every semester with 3 per semester sometimes.

If you can't manage that and excell, I would question your ability to do well in med school.

It really depends on both your ability to do well in science classes and the difficulty of those classes. A couple of simple science classes like biology, chemistry, physics, etc. taken together shouldn't be too difficult, however if you decide to take a few science classes alongside upper division science electives that tend to be more difficult or have a lower average GPA, then you are in for some trouble.
For example, last Spring I took a bio lecture and lab, a math class, and a physics lecture and lab, and was able to get a 3.9. Fast forward to this past fall, where I made the mistake of taking ochem with 2 upper division physics classes with an average class grade between 20-30%. I was destroyed and got a 3.3.

When deciding which classes you want to take, just pay attention to which ones are known to be difficult, and try not to take them at the same time. Do this, and it should be very doable to get through it with a high GPA.
