It depends on what biochemistry you take:
Biochemistry "light" for non biochemistry majors is just a survey of elementary pathways, some intermediary metabolism and a dash of molecular genetics thrown in for good measure. I don't think this course will be too beneficial.
However...Biochemistry regular of biochemistry majors might be beneficial. There is much more emphasis on lab techniques, which could be beneficial for questions dealing with "experimental biology" as listed by the DAT syllabus. Also, Biochemistry for biochemistry majors covers cell biology and molecular genetics in much greater detail.
