I'm thinking of going to optometry school without a baccalaureate degree from my undergrad college. Is this a smart move? Should I finish my degree and then go? I'd really appreciate it if someone could shed some light on this issue for me.Thanks!

I believe that the vast majority of colleges now require that you have the degree but if you are eligible for one of the 3/4 programs and you've been offered admission, then definately go.
Well I was in a 3/4 program but I got rejected cause of a low OAT score. After being rejected I decided to apply to PCO because they only required 90 credits or more from undergrad. I got accepted to go next fall but if I do go I won't be able to get my degree. Once you become an optometrist, is an undergrad degree necessary?
I attempted to do this. However, PCO, SCO, and NOVA all turned be down and said if I had obtained a bach, then I would have probably been extended an interview. UAB was the only school that said "we really don't care". SCO was VERY picky about it as well. They told me that in order to get in without a bach, that I would need to make up for it in my OAT scores (scoring around a 360-370)

No. Not really. If you've been admitted, I would go. If you care to, you can probably complete your undergraduate degree once you're done school just for your own personal satisfaction but if you've been offered admission, go.
