I'm a freshman and my school calculates gpa using a scale where an A+ is 4.33, A is 4.0, A- is 3.67, and so on. Is my gpa reported using my school's scale or a different scale?

AMCAS has a different scale and will use its own rules to generate your application GPAs. For one thing an A+ is equal to an A, namely a 4.0.

Since your university does +/- your AMCAS calculation will be:

A+ 4.00
A 4.00
A- 3.70
B+ 3.30
B 3.00
etc
