Currently in my 4th semester at a community college in NJ(brookdale
Prerequisites completed:
Gen chem I A
Gen chem II A
Gen bio I A
Gen bio II A
Orgo I A

Prerequisites this semester:
Gen Physics I possibly B+, A, or A- (depends on the last test)
Calculus I Most likely A
Orgo II Most likely A

Next semester(fall) prerequisites
Gen physics II
Calculus II

In the spring, I will be going to Rutgers University to continue taking upper level courses (anatomy, physiology, microbiology, Biochemistry, etc) and get a bachelor's in biological science.

Now when should I even start thinking about preparing for the DAT and applications?

ZERO extracurricular activities related to dentistry except I have braces
Hoping to join a predental club and maybe find a dental office to shadow.
Worked as a pharmacy technician for a few months.

Am i behind as far as being a sophomore?

Thank you very much.

You're doing fine.

Have a cookie. Classically people start prepping for the DAT around their Junior year, try to take it in the summer after junior year and apply for Dental school at the same time. This way you'll be matriculating into d-school right after you graduate.

If you can you should study for DAT, since you Ochem knowledge would be pretty fresh and would require less time to study it again.
