I just took a practice DAT exam on the Kaplan CD that comes with the big blue book, and it gave me a breakdown of my scores (science, pat, qr, rc...), but didn't give me my academic average for some reason.

Does anyone know how each section is weighted into the AA? I'd assume that the sciences are a huge chunk. I tried to google this, but had no luck whatsoever on how to average the breakdown.

Thanks all!

Yes, TS stands for total science. It is the "weighted average" of bio, GC and OC.

So for example, if you score 22 on bio, 23 on gc and 29 on oc, your TS will not simply be the average of the 3, but instead there will be another scale to evaluate it specifically for TS.
