How is the CNS innervated?

Lol that's a bit of a general question...? How so do you mean? The nerves of the PNS come in through dorsal root ganglia into the spinal cord, and then project up (usually into the thalamus) and then over to the cortex. There are also nerves (of the face) that usually go into brain stem nuclei and then into the cortex. And olfactory goes straight in.
