I've been waitlisted by quite a few schools but also have an acceptance to several that I wouldn't mind going to. For the following schools that I'm waitlisted at, is there a chance I can get off the waitlist? I'm a PA resident.

Rochester
GW
Maryland (OOS)
Temple
VCU (OOS)

Although I haven't heard from the following 3, I'm expecting to get waitlisted in ianuary as well since I didn't do too well on the interviews:

BU
Albert Einstein
Miami Miller

Edit: do I need to send updates to these schools if I want any shot at coming off the waitlist? My grades have dropped and so have my ECs. The only thing I would be able to send are letters of interests; are they even worth sending cause I assume everyone will be sending them

Rochester implied heavy waitlist movement at the interview and explicitly encouraged updates/LOIs. I would definitely send them something. No idea about the others.

When I had applied a few years ago BU and Einstein had pretty minimal movement, but admissions policies can change from year to year.
