How late can I apply to make no difference?

I know apps opened up last week and it's best to apply as early as possible but I'm still working on my personal statement. I was wondering how late can I apply and still be considered to be in the same group. Secondaries don't even come out until July I thought so is it anytime before then? Thanks.

For MD schools, you're fine until Labor day.

For DO schools, fine until T-giving, and maybe even Xmas.
