How likely is it to qualify for need based aid/grants?

its school specific and its highly unlikely anyone outside of said schools financial aid office (after they've received your fafsa) can answer this question for you. Maybe give them a call and see if they can provide an estimate or just wait until they send the fin. aid packet and let it be a hopefully pleasant surprise 🙂
 
I agree with the post above. It depends entirely on the school. The best advice I could give you is to contact the financial aid office after you submitted your FASFA and go from there.
 
Look at the average debt for students on the MSAR, that may help give you some idea too.
