Successful (and unsuccessful I guess) re-applicants:

How long did you wait between applications and what did you do that changed your fortune?

My personal situation is this:

lower MCAT, average oGPA, competitive sGPA, killer ECs, research and employment in medicine

didn't make it the first time due to MCAT/late application/moved and lost residency. haven't done much last application cycle but volunteer and work in medicine. wondering how long I should put it on ice and what I should focus on beside the MCAT.

well, I'm reapplying this year so we'll see if its successful. I didn't have the dime to improve gpa, retook mcat, shadowed a specialist, and added a volunteering initiative.
