How long does it take for acgme to approve an additional residency spot?

assuming all issues were settled--funding, program director approval, etc--how long does it physically take the acgme to approve an additional spotfor a residency class?

Asking cause iv been waiting close to 3wks now and I just want to be sure that im in a good position.

Ask the PD. Nobody else can really help you.

Pd in same specialty says to just wait till acgme replies; pd in a different specialty says should usually be quick....hence why im worried, cause of two conflicting answers from two different pds.

I said, ask "the" PD, not as "a" PD. Ask the PD of the program that requested the additional spot.

Each RRC is different. So different specialties will have different experiences.
