hey for those of you that interviewed there already, how long for the adcoms to meet and decide? and do they let you call and find out your status? this wait is just killing me!!! and i just interviewed on monday...i havent been able to sleep or eat well!

Patience my dear Watson,...The committee meets at the end of every month so you'll have to wait until atleast first or second week in Dec. I recieved my notice via certified mail but I have heard of others calling. My advice is to keep busy b/c the waiting game is tortious. GOOD LUCK

The adcom met on the 8th, the applicants that were recommended by the committee go before the dean on the 12th. If you know that your file was in Monday's committee meeting, you can probably try calling next Monday. They won't give out any info until the Dean is done on Friday.

hi there. adcom meets every other monday.
and their decision is presented to the dean 2-3 days after.
im sure if you are accepted, the letter will be sent by the end of this week.

I interviewed at NSU on 10/15.
Adcom reviewed my file on 10/25.
I received my acceptance by certified mail 11/09, but I live in Houston, TX.

thanks! yea i called and they said that since i interviewed monday then my file wont go to the committee till the 22nd when they next meet. this waiting sucks!! for those of you who were accepted, how did you feel about your interview??i had one guy that kept giving me a hard time, and i wasnt sure if he just didnt like me or if he was just rude but i didnt walk out of there like i had impressed them...maybe im just overanalyzing...sux because theyre my top school right now...

I interviewed there, and although they were not my #1 going into it, I will now be attending there. I really enjoyed the school and felt as if I would be at home with most of the student body and faculty. I was not overly impressed with what one of the tour guides was telling me--but then I realized that this person was simply being totally honest. At other schools, everything was sugar coated and I didn't feel as if this student was doing that. I felt as if I knew much more realistically what to expect when I left that school as compared to my feelings as I left others. I look very forward to moving to FL and starting there in the fall. 🙂 If you have any specific questions, feel free to PM me.
