How long is it currently taking to process the AMCAS?

I submitted August 2nd, and it was processed by August 13th. So, about 2 weeks. When I submitted, all of transcripts were already turned in.

I submitted 8/5, then I found out they were missing a transcript. After sending a second one, it was acknowledged by AMCAS on 8/16, but my app is still "active."
I hope two weeks is on track, that would be great 👍 Less than a week to go - maybe . . .

Mine was processed exactly 2 weeks to the day.
They had lost my transcript as well, so I had another one sent. Well, they must've found it because I got an email today saying that they had received my transcript. I was processed on 8/19

I submitted mine last Friday. Hopefully processed by labor day weekend.
Do you guys feel that your amcas was turned in late relative to everyone else. For me, after reading the sdn boards every day I feel like I am one of the last people submitting my application. How about you guys?

and me and my crew mates will let ye know when it is processed
me hopes that many more amcas people are woking ....and though the sdn ship pales me in the cheeks for being a tardy pirate i do believe it motivates me lazy arse to get to submitting!

what's the difference b/w processed and verified?! Is there a difference? I have had so much trouble with AMCAS lately I'm ready to freakin shoot someone over there......😡

You're far from the last; mine aren't in yet. if I could finalize my PS mine will go in today; transcript has already been sent and LOR are ready or sent.

Psycho, you aren't supposed to send your LORs to AMCAS. Those are supposed to be sent in with your secondary.
Unless you are applying to TMDSAS (in which case you do send in your LORs) you must wait until you are asked to fill in a secondary from each school before sending your rec letters in.

I know LOR's aren't supposed to be sent in with the AMCAS primary, but I'm still confused.
When do you actually send them? From reading the MSAR, it seems like you send in your LOR's only if you are requested to do so by the committee after them having reviewed your secondary. So, I take it, you do not send it in with the secondary either, but only afterwards?
Boy..I am screwed.....I haven't even gotten any LOR's yet. I'm going to get on it tomorrow so hopefully I have them by the time the primary is processed.

yea ok, well i really don't think they are actually sent; i think they are just written; everyone kept telling me they should be ready/sent, so i was getting paranoid.
