From what I've read, it can vary. I received a UCSF secondary after maybe 4 weeks of waiting, while others waited only a few days. If you are about to apply this cycle, just know that you will encounter many things that aren't logical/don't make sense, but don't let that get to you.
Generally within a week or two. Some took 3-4 weeks. You'll be waiting a lot during this process and if you are just now waiting for secondaries (for the 2011-12 cycle)....

Most were within the first two weeks of August. (I submitted first week of August.) A few came in as late as 4th week of August (i.e., Drexel). My first interview invite was SLU and it came via email some 10 days after my secondary was submitted. They accepted me two weeks later. So if a school finds you attractive turn-around time can be VERY fast. If they take their time, they might be less interested or they might just be slow.
