How long per school per secondary

Just curious...how long do you guys spend on each school's secondaries?

Besides the notorious ones (UCSD, Duke, etc), what's the average?

I've realized I spend roughly 3-5 hrs writing it, wait 1 day, proofread it for another hr and off it goes.

Just wondering what the general trend seems to be.

On average, probably about 3 days.

Schools that didn't require essays, well obviously you can do those all in one day.

Other schools with one or two essays, I wrote in about a day, and then edited for one or maybe two days.

A few schools with longer/more essays, I spent up to a week on. I actually still need to finish this damn Duke secondary.

Overall my approach seems very similar to yours. It hasn't resulted in great writing, but not complete trash either- decent enough to get a few invites.

It varies depending on how naturally inclined toward verbosity you are, how picky you are about rearranging it all, and how susceptible you are to distractions like the almighty internets.👍

That sounds about right. I'd say I did 20 secondaries in 30 days.
