how long should a brief statement be?

For PCOM secondary it says indicate why you wish to become a physician and specific reasons why PCOM. is a one page & 1/4 of another page brief? or is that too long? any help? i don't want to piss off the committee..

I think it's fine, but if you can trim it down to 1 page it might be better.
