How long to get Federal DEA

Does anybody have recent experience with how long it takes to get a Federal DEA after applying online? The tag line from the DEA is 4-6 weeks but some people say it is faster.

I got mine the same week I applied.it probably varies from states and workload of offices

Number over the phone within 48 hours, physical card within 10 days if that.

Applied Monday night. Credit card debited $750 Tuesday. Got it in the mail on Friday.
