how long/what to study for step 2 ck?

I've heard all you need to do is read first aid for step 2 ck and do usmle world questions for about 2 weeks....is that true?

what did some of you all do?

Definitely not true!! 😀
If you are an IMG, it needs lot of preparations for at least 6 months.
Its different for AMGs though..

the common belief amongst AMGs is: "2 months (for Step 1), 2 weeks (for Step 2), 2 pencils (for Step 3)"

but then again most AMGs take Step 2 closer to match day (i.e. just before graduation) while IMGs need it to be considered for application.
