Go to all pre December 1st interviews...
You could go to 100 interviews and get rejected 100 times, if you're socially inept.

There is no answer to this question. Some people get 5 interviews and botch all 5. 1 interview is all it takes if you are well prepared.
assuming your social skills are better than that of a door knob.... I'd say... 3-4 interviews = 1 acceptance (minimum)

👍 The greatest chance for an acceptance is on Dec 1st granted that you've had pre-dec 1st interviews... the probability of an acceptance begins to drastically diminish as the months go on
THis might not mean anything, but from what I heard, once you make it to the interview, you have roughly 15% to 30% chances of being accepted, depending on pre- or post-December interview. So, if you do 1/0.15 or 1/0.3, you should interview at least 4-6 schools to have probability of getting into at least one.

Yeah, you(not you in particular) can do well in interviews and still not get accepted because there are just more competitive applicants out there. Interviews is just one part of the equation for some schools. Just saying this from personal experience, though my interviews were in the spring so having interviews pre-dec 1st gives you a much higher chance.

To the OP: If you cant make all the schools you applied to, then why did you apply to so many? Just prioritize the ones you want to go to the most I guess.

Okay but how can you be so sure that you will get interviews from all schools if you apply only few of them? If you apply less school, you will have less opportunity to get interviews. I applied many schools to increase my chance to get interviews.
That's good that you applied to a lot of schools just in case.
Great stats, which is what you have, will get you interviews.
It is different for every school, but I know that from Louisville, you are given an academic score (DAT, gpas, etc) and a non-academic score (LORs, interview, ECs, etc). They add the scores up, and rank their applicants. Your strong stats will give you more of a buffer, as compared to someone who has weak stats.

Again, it's different for every school, but I just wanted to show you how one admissions committee ranks its applicants. Just don't be a complete tool and you should get in somewhere.
For the average person, yes, however, you are not the average person. With your stats, you will get many interviews! If you are applying to 20 schools, I would not be surprised if you get 15 or more interviews haha 👍

Doc Toothache made an Excel with this information from 2009 I think..
If I'm not mistaken, about 75% of the seats are gone by January and in December it drops to something like 90%
That totally depends on the school. Some are pre-Dec heavy on the acceptances, while others are more uniform in their pre/post-Dec acceptances

im just having trouble understanding his spreadsheet, thats all. Also, I only saw numbers for a select few schools.
