How many interviews did you decide to actually attend?

I just love the poll threads, so I though I'd start another. How many interviews do you actually plan on attending?
I talked with a classmate of mine the other day that is only going to 4-5. I talked with a resident at one of my interviews and she only ranked 2, but then had to scramble. So, just curious what ya all's plans are.

I went to 17. I really wanted to look around at different areas of the country. It was fun. I finally got it paid off about the time I finished residency.

But nemesis is coming. 3 years from now I'll be begging you to come down to work for a pittance in a faculty slot and you'll be saying: "Sorry BKN, but mammoth megagroup has just offered me twice as much as an entry level minion with a possible promotion to evil overlord in just 3 years. Bu-wa-ha-ha-ha!"

I just now noticed that docB's pic of the In n Out sign has the ER part of burger enlarged. Fantastic. 👍 (note, except for the post-pad sign, I think that is the first time I have used a sign in post = maybe that's part of the reason why I think docB's pic is cool).

This is especially cool since it is subtle.

Nah, there will always be the people, but now with community salaries cresting $300K in many places, earning $175K doesn't seem as nice. Even if your kids get to go to college for free.
