I have a committee letter with 5 LOR and an additional individual letter.

Do I have 6 or 2 letters?

According to GW's FAQ

What type of letters of recommendation are required? How many?

To complete their file, applicants are required to submit either:

A Pre-Health or Pre-Medical Committee Letter (required if available to you) OR
Three letters from individuals (and no more than five), at least one of which must be from science faculty familiar with your academic work.

Should I not send the individual LOR to GW?

E-mail them and ask.

IMO, if your committee letter is a composite letter, it's probably ok. The composite letter is generally used in place of two science and a non-science letter. If it is a packet containing all the separate individual letters, I wouldn't.

From what I understand, my UG committee letter is a composite letter based on my LOR and essays to the committee, but they attach individual unedited letter as well...
