Thru Pharmcas??? Is it 2 LORs or 4 LORs???
so confused... How can I ask the same professor to write me LOR for Pharmcas, another one for a different school that does not use Pharmcas and a third one that's not using Pharmcas system... That's too much to ask from a professor or a supervisor at work.. ANY thoughts? what was ur intake in that..

It can be 2 ... it can be 4. Stop relying on PharmCAS so much. Go to the schools' website and see how many they require.

You can ask the same professor to write you multiple LORs; they are used to it, albeit it is a hassle. Make life as easy as possible for them. Give a list of all the places they need to send recommendations to, and indicate whether it's online or paper, and indicate WHERE to send the LOR to. if it's paper, then include an addressed and stamped envelope for your professor's convenience.

pharmacist2be,

I agree that it is a bummer that our references have to jump through so many hoops! I've been doing what busyizzy advised and trying to make it as easy as possible by providing the envelopes, postage, and directions for each school. Most of the schools I'm applying to require 3 letters and two require only two letters so to cover my bases I lined up four references. I'm glad I did too because my third reference hasn't completed his yet due to being out for surgery but I'm sure he will when he returns next week and of course, I'll be paying him a visit. My fourth reference has been completely non-responsive so I've pretty much given up on her. Good luck!
