The primary prevention data for women taking aspirin is weak to nonexistent, so I would not put myself on aspirin. I also don't think that everyone/unselected people should just be taking daily aspirin...remember there is risk of GI bleeding and if you treat enough low risk ppl I think those will outweigh any potential benefit.
If I was male and had a high LDL, especially if there was any family history of premature CAD, I would take a statin in a nanosecond, even if I was 30 something or perhaps even younger. You can only fight your genetics so much with diet and exercise.
