how many prerequisites are required?

So I'm applying this cycle. I sent in my application last week. Last year I had a major health problem and I couldn't take half the classes I had planned on. Basically, I'm behind on my prereqs. i will have taken all of them by the end of next year.

Will the fact that i'm taking 1 semester bio, 1 bio chem, 1 english, and 2 anat/phys next year hurt my application? i currently have only taken 1 bio class. this makes studying for the bio part of the DAT a pain. I also don't take my DAt until aug 3.

i'm a chem major so i've taken tons of chem/physics classes just not bio! my GPA is 3.65 and sGPA 3.3(math!), but BCP GPA is 3.5

what do you think?

I'm not sure how you are going to learn all the appropriate material required for the DAT by only having the first bio course under your belt... 🙁

Make sure you get a good score in Bio (20+) to demonstrate that you have ability in this subject. Usually with people who have subscores in the bio section, schools will look at their bio classes to confirm that they have aptitude here. In your case, they'll only have your DAT Bio score to formulate their opinion and may not give you any benefits of doubt. So hit this section hard in your prep.

Thanks! it's definitely been the hardest section to improve on since it's so broad. i went from getting 13's --> 18's so hopefully by test day i'll be ready!
