Going off the spreadsheet seems like the vast majority of invites have been sent out. I think the programs reviewed apps in 1-2 weeks compared to a month in previous years
I'm wondering this too. Given that most DR/prelim/TY invites have only been scheduled for Nov and Dec, there may be a "second wave" of invites for early next year? Not really sure what to make of this interview season compared to previous years.
Based on the spreadsheets and dates for IIs, many are saying that the majority of IIs (80%) have been sent out already. From now on, it will just be trickles from people canceling or tiny waves from some programs that are still reviewing.

That’s what I think also. The big programs seem to have sent out all the interviews at once while the mid tier places have already done a number of waves. I bet it’s only cancelled interviews that will come out now
I really don’t know for this year, I imagine more people are going to interview at lots of places. Not sure how it will affect where people land on their rank list though. I’d assume 8-9 would be the safe number like last year but it’s just a guess. I know it’s easier said than done but the match rate was really high last year and there wasn’t a big increase in applicants this year so even with less interviews you will match
