How many schools read your secondary before an interview invite?

Is it reasonable to expect virtually all adcoms to read your secondary essay(s) before extending an II?

If you're an early applicant and/or have high stats, are schools more likely to "automatically" send you an II without reading your secondary?

There's no way to know this and honestly it doesn't change a thing. The rule of the game is get your secondaries in ASAP and hope for an interview invite. You can be assured that they HAVE read your secondaries by the time you interview... so make sure you remember what you wrote and can back it up!

Thanks for the response. Actually, this is more relevant to me than you might think, for personal reasons. I was just wondering if people on or in contact with adcoms (such as LizzyM or NickNaylor) might be able to shed some light.

Every school may be a bit different from the rest. My school, at lest one person is going to read your secondary before you get an ii and one or two more may read it before you interivew.
