How many schools with 31, 3.7/3.5?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
You are overdoing it. No need for DO unless u really love DO medicine. U will get into MD some where. Leave the Carib school too;
~25-30 should be fine.

Yeah seriously drop the Caribbean. You may be interested in DO so apply to the ones you would like, but don't over do it. After that make up a list of MD schools that you would like and would be competitive at. Your gonna get in somewhere unless you somehow botch something in your application or interview up. Good luck! :luck:

I think you'd be fine with 20-25 schools, including a few DO schools.

Cool, thanks for the advice...I've somewhat pared down my list, if anyone has time and wants to change any schools here feel free...thanks!

Florida resident

DO: TCOM, PCOM, CCOM (I know ppl. who grad. from all 3, got into residencies top 1-2 choices (MD residencies))

MD:

Reach-Tufts, Georgetown, Boston U., UF

Possibly Competitive (?) - USF, UMiami, FSU, FIU, UCF, GWU, Drexel, Rosalind Franklin, Loyola, Albany, SUNY-Upstate/Downstate, Penn State, Jefferson, Temple, SLU, VCU, Commonwealth, EVMS, U. South Carolina, Tulane, MSU

Anyplace Florida works for me...If you know of any on my list that are terrible for OOS or feel like making changes to the list, let me know, thanks! I don't care where I go in US if its allopathic...

I don't think South Carolina is very friendly to OOS applicants, and MSU has ridiculous OOS tuition. Otherwise your list looks pretty good.
