Hi All!

I will be completing my prereqs for CSU vet school this spring and am also taking upper division Vert Zoo and Cell and Molecular. Planning on taking micro this summer to clear the way for other more upper division biomedical courses in the fall. My question is with ochem, biochem, genetics, cell and molec and vert zoo (that's 5 total) being my only upper division courses with grades (all A's) to show by Fall '14, will I be competitive in that area? I plan on enrolling in a full schedule of more upper division in the fall, which the committee should see, but of course won't have grades for those to show.
Not worried about my animal and veterinary experience, just wonder if I'm a little light in the upper divisions and should wait till 2015.

Thanks in advance!

Got into CSU in the most recent cycle. I had two semesters of 100 level gen chem, two semesters of 200 level ochem, 2 semesters of 200 level gen bio, 1 semester of 400 level biochem, 1 semester of 400 level genetics, 1 semester of 300 level microbio, 1 semester of 300 level cell bio, 1 semester of 200 level animal nutrition.
So seeing as you're trying for this upcoming cycle, I think you're good. Not that more wouldn't hurt, but I wouldn't go canceling other classes if that's what it would take.
