How many US s MD and DOs use Kaplan to prepare for step 1?

Hey guys and gals,

Question is pretty much in the title lol How many of you guys used the Kaplan classes to prepare for step 1?
Just was curious how many students undergo the Kaplan program for their Step 1/ COMLEX preparation and how was your experience? Given that many MD and DO programs give about a month or so for board prep, is it a feasible option? I'm not in med school yet as I will start this year but was just curious to see what the consensus is on board prep material besides the normal Pathoma, First Aid, and USMLE bank questions.

I'm studying for it currently and have no intention to use anything other than FA, UW, Pathoma, and Sketchy for microbiology.

Throw in RX, master all the content and you are looking at 250+

Do Kaplan if you lack basics or are an IMG ( i.e. your Med School curriculum is not tailored for USMLE)
