How many versions of the DAT are out at once?

I'm not asking because I want to cheat haha. I do have a great sense of integrity, as I hope all who go into this profession must have.

I am asking this because a classmate/acquantience of mine (who I believe is smarter than I am) just took her DAT and didn't do very well. Now I feel less prepared, I am scheduled to take mine next week, but I don't know if I should reschedule and study longer.

Could it be that she had bad luck with a version and will I likely get the same questions?

It is unlikely you'll receive the same test. Keep in mind, however, that each test has a different scale for scores based on their difficulty. Ex. 35/40 on test A may be a 22 whereas it may be a 24 on test B.

I haven't taken mine yet (9 days) but there's a lot of different versions out there. No one gets the same test so you can never know for sure. Just be confident in that you prepared yourself to the best of your ability

IMO, it has nothing to do with luck. There are many versions of the DAT and if you are prepared it should not matter what version you are presented, you will be able to tackle it. The DAT is a very challenging exam that is often underestimated.
