how maths i related to optometry

nt sure if this is the correct to post.
But, may i know why is maths needed in optometry?
like its usage, is it important?

are you talking about the subject mathematics? i would assume the part thats related to it is optics (physics) which involves math. You need to know about reflections, refractions, geometry of lenses those kinds of things i believe.

Hm, not sure ill let you know next semester when i take the remainder of my physics class....But at the moment, my guess is that they are both used in problem solving techniques.

As far as differentiation....all you really need is a small enough angle or wavelength to set up a differential, they are probably used for full understanding, instead of "memorizing" something.
