How much do you spend for living fee in a month (rent, food, gas, etc.)?

I'm just curious about how much you guys spend a month in dental school. I have a few housing options, the one close to the school is around $1,300-$1,400/month if I live alone (utilities not included). I don't know if it's too much or just sth okay to pay.

It is really dependent on what area you are in. if you are in NYC/SF 1300$/month is a relatively affordable option. If you are in Midwest that is high.

what is your monthly budget?

I spent 700/month in rent with a roommate, and about 500-700 for everything else each month.

When I was in dental school (in a city in the Midwest), I paid $700/month in rent, sharing a 4-bed 2-bath apartment with 3 other roommates.
