I don't really care either way. It's their life. But I find it interesting that the blame always tends to land on the woman
You also notice how the entire thread went straight to implying that the girl did something scandalous with the attending to get that response despite the more likely explanation that the attending was trying to be "nice" to her (and he was the one being inappropriate) or even the likely possibility that she was just a nicer/better student/person than the OP.
you keep using the word i. this is not about you. i am speaking in general terms. notice i said the common kid. look at all the young black men. even the nypd cop boss bratton just said last week that they can't hire blacks in the city to police the black areas because the blacks are not hireable. why? a huge majority have criminal records. why? no parenting along with the reasons i spoke of above. they chose a life of crime. the stats prove what i said. the numbers are not my opinion.
...
Whenever people talk about people of color that have criminal records the explanation is always they chose that path, they ruined their lives, or their parents did. I'll tell you I knew plenty of wealthy white people as well as poor white people in high school that constantly broke the law. The difference is that when those people got caught they were brought back home and given a "talking to", whereas the non-white kids get charged, have a record and can never get stable jobs.
There exists in this country a vicious cycle that oppresses people of color, and in general people (of any color) born with less means. Those same people are targeted more frequently than others by police, and they're given harsher judgment and treatment as well. That treatment adversely affects their lives forever, making it very difficult for them to get a job, maintain a job, and simply live a normal life. Sure there are exceptions, but just because some people got lucky, doesn't mean anyone can.
I'm sure you didn't mean anything by your statements, it just bothers me that despite being painfully aware of this fact since I was a teenager, it bothers me when people act like that's not the way the world works.
Anyway, I said my peace, I'm out of this thread and forum. Allo seems way more "pre-med" or basic than it used to be, either that or I'm just me inpatient than I used to be.
