Anyone know how many secondaries OHSU (Oregon) sends out to non-residents? In other words, does the school do most of its screening in the pre-secondary or post-secondary/pre-interview stage? Just curious.

Bump! Good question

I would think post secondary because I got a secondary invite last week and I'm a Cali resident. Stats sorta suck so that's why I'm saying screening post secondary. (3.75GPA, 25O MCAT but just retook so possibly worse due to PS section) but decent EC's and semi-strong personal statement I suppose.

I don't know the answer to the OP's question (wish I did, though), but they DO screen pre-secondary - at least according to the MSAR. How much of a screen, I don't know. Then, the MSAR also says Stanford screens.

Hey I am not sure for nonresidents, but for OR residents, you have to have over a 2.8 GPA and above a 24 on the MCAT to get a secondary. I think the stats are higher for out-of-state, butI may be wrong.
