I'm interviewing there in a few days, but they still don't have my DO LOR. They should be getting it any day now, though. I was told the letter would be sent out sometime in mid November...once again hosed by LORs. I'm worried the ADCOM will be like "O RLY, you want to be a DO...well that's funny bc we don't have your LOR from a DO." Does anyone think/know if this is a big deal?

it's not a big deal at all! i was interviewed there and they didn't have any of my letters at the time. as long as they know that the letter is on it's way, you should be fine. the only disadvantage is that the adcom can't make a decision until your DO letter gets there. i was interviewed w/o any of my letters there, and once my letters arrived, i was accepted. so good luck :luck:

No worries. Just get it in promptly if you want to hear from them after the next adcom meeting.

exact same situation I was in, if you got a good feeling about your interview afterwards and know that a strong or decent letter is coming then I wouldn't worry too much. Then again I had a bad feeling after my interview and my D.O. letter was weak (so weak that my pre-med advisor did not recommend sending it out to schools) but I got in anyways so you never know. Good luck!

Take this from someone who actually knows what goes on there..... The letters are the least important part of your application.
