hey, i was thinking about the dental profession and i was just wondering about a few things.

when you become a dentist, to what degree do you have to use your brain to do your job?

i mean, are there only a few common procedures you deal with on a daily basis, and who's technique is pretty much automatic and memorized, or do 'you get alot of cases where you have to use your knowlege to 'solve' what's wrong and to do your job?

Dentists are DOCTORS, of course you'll have to use your brain.

Most patients are taking a prescription, so what will you prescribe for each of them to insure you do what you want to do without harming them or neutralizing their current prescription? Just one of a million things you will think about each day.
