I completed my aadsas application on 7/10/14. And I had 3 LOR's in by that date as well. I had a TERRIBLE time hounding a professor for a LOR (asked about 4/15/14) and I didn't receive it until 9/2/14. Therefore my application complete date is "technically" around 9/5/14...........

Does anyone have experience with receiving a late LOR? I've gotten interview invites from Tennessee and LECOM, but I applied to 15 schools. Rejected by NOVA as well.

Anyway, I'm just going stir-crazy having not heard ANYTHING from like 12 schools.

If it matters, my stats are:

GPA: 3.15
SciGPA: 3.25
DAT: 20 AA, 17 PAT, (none below 17), highs = 25 RC, 23 Orgo.
80+ shadowing hours
I'm a non-trad student w/an accounting degree and 1+ year of work experience, did informal post-bacc at 4-year school. Post bacc gpa = 3.6, the 3.1 listed above includes my (poor) accounting gpa.

Schools I haven't heard from:

(I have completed supplemental apps for all schools listed below, besides Alabama & WVU....no supplemental app invite as of 10/23)

Boston
GRU
NYU
Temple
Tufts
Alabama
Louisville
USC (Souther Cal)
MUSC (charleston, SC)
WVU
Western
Kentucky

Well, I had my AADSAS in middle of August and all supplementals in early September but my LORs were finished and approved by AADSAS 10/17. However, I received UAB interview call 10/21.

I heard from students and even admissions panel that if you apply for a school that is rolling decision, you have equal chance of getting an interview as anyone else but they just review your application in the order they were received. I would not worry too much because I am also waiting to heard from my schools. Just so you have a better understanding, I applied to the following schools:

UAB
UCLA
UCSF
U Wash
U Mich
U Penn
Harvard
Columbia
Rutgers
UNC

I would however have to say that your stats are low. But, with your post bacc GPA and your DAT scores, I have confidence that you will be able to get into a dental school. It would boil down to whether your resume and interview is stellar.
