I am just looking up Molecular Orbital Theory and wondering how much of this do I need to memorize? Do I need to know the order in which sigma and pi orbitals gets filled for s and p electrons?

If you base it on the feedback about the MCAT in the threads for the last five years or so, then the amount of MO thoery you should know is 0.

I think it was tested years ago, probably as a simple pseudo-free standing question, but that's pretty outdated. You should reference the AAMC list as to what you need to know. Anything in your prep materials not on their list can be dropped to a very low priority.

In all my review I've never seen a HOMO/LUMO question. Knowing the hybridization angles is probably as complex as you'll have to get.
