I'm just wondering how big an advantage a pre-Dec interview actually is?
I know the first acceptances are sent out after Dec 1st so I'm guessing this is pretty big.

I have an interview at Boston in a couple weeks so I'm just curious and extremely nervous

Everyone seems to say it's a big deal, but only if you don't have stellar stats.

By this I mean early application is a big deal. I think if you apply early and don't get a pre-dec interview it's probably worse.

Its an advantage for you, if you get accepted on Dec. 1st then no worries for rest of the cycle.

btw, congrats about Boston. I'm sure you will be fine, just be prepared and relax. I think you've got the inside track.

search for doc toothache post. He has an excel file with the info of pre december interview and acceptance rate. It'll give you a better idea for specific schools. I'm not sure if its absolutely up to date with last cycle but will be helpful.
