This is mostly for the interns, but not entirely.

I feel like I'm much better. I know I still have a long way to go, but I am making fewer mistakes and I learn from them. And my Evals have all been pretty good.

Basically, I know what I have to do, I just don't always know how to do it. Does that make sense?

How about you?

One date.

You know the kind of date where the person seems really cool and nice but then at dinner the conversation becomes awkward when you realize you have nothing in common?

I now know what that feels like.

Its really, really hard for me to tell. At least in medical school you could use your classmates as a benchmark for your performance. I'm in a small program and never work directly with my fellow Interns. All I've got are evals. I guess I'l keep working hard and hoping for the best.

Hope things are going well for you. G'luck

The improvement tends to be in small increments -- you will really notice them late in the year. Right now in the eyes if your seniors you are all still pretty inept.

That's the risk of dinner dates unless the alcohol flows freely. best to plan an activity date where neither of you have done the activity before, and then you will have that in common.

I'm going on one of those with a gal next week!

We are gunna visit a local brewery, with a few of our friends.
