How much pull does a solid DO LOR have?

I've always wondered about this. Does it have a lot of pull? Especially if the DO you shadowed went to that school? How much does it overshadow things like a slightly below average GPA/MCAT (hypothetically of course, as I don't have an LOR yet nor have I taken the MCAT)

The pull becomes pretty strong post-interview.

Definitely helps with our Adcom meetings. Might help turn a borderline interview performance into an accept instead of wait-list.

It landed me an ii the same hour that I emailed the admissions office that I was sending a DO LOR.

Just sent mine in yesterday to all schools.....hopefully this gets me somewhere! It was an awesome LOR, he actually sent it to me before submitting it. Pretty cool dude.
