How many weeks of vacation do practicing Radiologists take a year? Is it possible/common to get ten or more weeks off per 12 months?
This is a real question...it has to do with non-work/school related issues.

🙂 Thanks in advance.

I don't know if its the norm but I get spam e-mails from companies where different groups in different states are advertising around 10 weeks vacation a year...some 8...but a couple have been 12. So I guess its not unheard of...

10 or 12 weeks is definitely possible, but you'll have to be somewhat flexible with the geography. In big cities, you won't get as much. In the rural areas, you can have that and sometimes more.

Yeah, I know a rural area offering a very good salary, and up to 16 weeks a year.

My dad got around 10 to 12. He works part time now for the same people so now he only WORKS 10 to 12 weeks a year.lol
