Just wondering how is the board score derived and on what curve? If it just based on those who took the test on a given day or everyone who took that version of the test?

The vast majority of test takers take it at their respective schools on the same day. Those students are all graded together and a curve by some super secret mathematical formula is derived. ( I believe that they come up with a passing score that allows the greatest number of students to pass without making the ADA look too bad.)

I have no idea how the computer test is graded or against what curve.
