How necessary is Math Destroyer when you are already using Chad's/DD/DBC?

How important is it to own Math Destroyer when you are preparing for the QR section with Chad's videos? I love the DAT Destroyer and I think that the questions and explanations in the book are an absolutely amazing way to prepare for the exam but I also have a relatively limited budget when it comes to materials as I have already decided to invest in Chad's videos, Bootcamp, KBB and Cliffs.

Has anyone gotten a good QR score without using Math Destroyer? Just relying on Chad's, DAT Destroyer and DAT Bootcamp?

And with regard to my math abilities, I would say that I have always been above average in math during my school years but never really the top student in the subject.

I have found Math Destroyer to be good practice but there were some really difficult (and long) questions on it. Almost all the QR questions I saw were relatively short and not really complicated. I just lost points when it came to remembering how to solve them. I will be honest and admit that I barely spent any time on QR compared to the other sections. So you might be ok with what you have.

I'm also not a big fan of KBB.. There are many errors (grammar/material) in it. If recall correctly, there's a thread about it on SDN somewhere. KBB doesn't really cover anything missing from Cliffs either. Get Barron's instead.

I got a 24 in QR. Granted, I'm weird and have always enjoyed algebra so practicing the math was kind of exciting? Haha. Anyway, I watched/took notes on Chad's QR videos once and went through the QR section of Destroyer like 1.2 times doing 40 questions in 45 minutes. If you understand Chad, you'll be fine on the QR part of Destroyer, which is pretty similar to the real deal.

As a side note, I borrowed my library's copy of KBB so I didn't have to buy it. It was from 2012 but I think most of it is pretty much the same. If you don't want to buy the book, check your library!

i just used the QR problems from the dat destroyer book. theres a decent amount if you don't want to buy the math destroyer although i got an 18 with using dat destroyer, chads and dat bootcamp so if ur trying to get 20+ on the QR you should get math destroyer. if your fine with an average score than its not necessary

It helps a lot, if you can go through all of it and get how do solve all questions.
(You would need to go through it more than once for this to happen)
It is harder than the actual DAT, but that also makes the actual DAT look like a joke.

I highly recommend getting math destroyer for the QR. It has little tricks in there that could help you get out of a tight spot on the actual DAT.

Not nescessary. I studied/reviewed quantitative for a few days before the test and still made a 19 on that subsection. Basic high school stuff, so just be sure to practice.
