How often should I expect to run out of scrap paper?

Hey team!
My DAT is in a few days and I'm getting excited thanks to all these breakdowns. I'm just curious as to how many times I should expect to have to ask for new paper? I've been practicing with an 8.5x11 whiteboard and occupy like 50% of the board with a single math question.

You might want to try to write smaller. You're given two 8.5x11 or so non erasable pieces of laminated paper, double-sided, and a marker. I personally exchanged my two sheets, without using them completely, after the perception section for some clean ones. During the Math section, I used both and needed one more. The amount of questions you're able to do in your head will reduce the amount of paper you need, but obviously don't try to not use the paper if you actually need to.

I think I asked for replacements twice. If I recall correctly, you can replace one laminated paper at a time, so make sure you switch it out as soon as you start on the second one. Other than that, try to write smaller, and don't use your fingers to erase(I got a warning for it).

and yeah... dont be left-handed unless you like to have ink smeared all over the place 😀

Great advice!

But in all seriousness, I think you can ask for more whiteboards/laminated paper. I raised my hand at my testing center and the proctor was able to give me more without any question.

That's a good idea! Thanks!

That sounds like it makes no sense to get a warning for errasing with your finger ? thats crazy, I wonder if all centers have that crazy rule and strictness
