How old is too old of an experience for a secondary?

Most of my stories and thoughts for secondaries are college and onwards. Obviously experiences as a child have little bearing. If I have an experience from high school that best addresses the prompt, does that work? I knew less than now but could think rationally...

I just wanted to make sure it isn’t an immediate no.

It’s for a prompt asking about ny toughest feedback and how I took it/what I learned from it. I wanted to write about getting pretty tough feedback from an atheltics coach in 12th grade that taught me how to respond to and grow from feedback.
Obviously I’ve gotten more feedback since then, but mostly in academic settings, but even in professional settings it hasnt been too harsh or significant and I’d have less to reflect on.
